Hallo Herr Taylor,
 
This is a wonderful idea!!! I still live in Germany, and I won't be in for the holidays,
so this is my chance to 'see' everyone at the Fest.
 
I hope you are healthy and enjoying your teaching-free time, although it is a shame
that an era has ended.  I hope someone continues with all the 'Extras' that you always put in to your job.
I was lucky to have been your student!
